She instructs the same way, with a gentle confidence and ease. She is a 200hr RYT from YogaWorks, Los Angeles under Senior Lead Teacher Thomas Taubman. Find her online at @lic2daydream.
I experience yoga a lot like I experience architecture; working internally and externally we create powerful foundations to build ourselves into long and strong structures. My practice and teaching emphasizes strength building, as I believe in the confidence and the relationship with the self that yoga inspires. When we begin to shape our architecture, we shape ourselves.

Shaun began her yogic journey while attending the University of Vermont for a B.A. in Theatre and Studio Art. She was encouraged by her cousin, a yogini based in Vermont, to try a yoga class. Yoga became a practice that she fell into, and never quite out of. She enjoyed Jivamukti, and Ashtanga classes at Yoga Vermont, and Yoga guided her through the normal life of an undergraduate student. After moving to Los Angeles, the world and styles of yoga and holistic health revealed themselves. From, Jivamukti, Kundalini,Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin and Restorative, she loved it all. Finally, Shaun, realizing that she wanted to give back to the community in a health conscious way, she decided to train with Cloud Nine Yoga out of Seal Beach, California, for her RYT 200 certification . This led her on her way to healing and devotional yoga. Loving Kundalini, Shaun incorporates many Kundalini Kriyas into her devotional, meditative, and healing flows. Having a level II Reiki certification, Shaun also enjoys healing touch into her classes as well as healing sessions. Bright-eyed and ready to create she looks forward to her new journey at SOHO Yoga.
Shortly after landing her first big job as a TV reporter/journalist, Lonni took her first yoga class in Austin Texas in 2003
The demands of stressful deadlines , expectations and adrenaline highs from the news business made her yearn for calm and stillness after work.
Yoga instantly helped Lonni discover the power of silence and deep breathing. She was hooked after that first class and now enjoys helping others find stillness in their lives.
A life changing trip to Budapest, Hungary in 2013 inspired Lonni to become a yoga instructor. Following that trip abroad, she returned to California and began studying yoga and practicing at Yoga Shala in midtown Sacramento. At Yoga Shala, She completed a 4 month Roots to Wings Program with Tristina Kennedy and Michael Fong. She has a RYT 200 hr certification in Vinyasa Flow and Hatha Yoga and has plans to further her practice and studies with Yogaworks in 2020.
Her style is soulful , playful with sometimes some storytelling. In addition to the physical practice or asana, Lonni loves to include the other limbs of yoga while teaching. Lonni has taught in Canary Islands, Spain, Sausalito CA, Sacramento California, Marin City CA and now Los Angeles, CA. The beach is her favorite place to teach and practice. She is also an avid hiker. Connecting with nature is humbling and grounding for Lonni.
